Getting from the airports to Limerick:
Shannon Airport:
There is a Bus Eireann bus stop outside the arrivals building with regular buses to Limerick Bus Station. The Journey costs around €5 and takes 40 minutes. Details of bus times can be found on the Bus Eireann web site journey planner http://www.buseireann.ie/
A taxi from the airport to UL costs around €30+.
If you would like to inform us of your flight arrival times then we can try to arrange transport shared with other students that might be arriving around the same time and thus reduce your costs. Any students under 18 (or their parents/guardian) should contact us to arrange to be picked up by a member of Blas staff.
Dublin Airport:
The cheapest method of transport to Limerick is by bus. Outside the arrivals building get a Dublin Bus going to Bus Aras (the central bus station) and a Bus Eireann bus to Limerick from there. The airport to Bus Aras (central bus station) bus is €5 one way and a return ticket to Limerick bus station is around €23. Alternatively a train is available from Dublin to Limerick around €47 for a return ticket. Ask at the airport for the bus to Heuston Station.

Buses from the city centre to the University of Limerick are the numbers 302 and 308 and they leave from outside the Centra shop on William St. The journey costs €1.10 and takes around 15 minutes. They run every 20 minutes.
